The Journey so Far...
May 2020: Allied Global Engineering acquires it's first trading business in a retirement sale - EGL Vaughan. EGL Vaughan was first born in 2005 with the merger of 2 machining businesses which were both originally founded in the 80s.

May 2022: Allied Global Engineering buys 3 trading fabrication businesses from the retiring owner in one acquisition - Griffiths & Johnson, G&J Logisitcs and G&J Amco. Griffiths & Johnson was originally founded in 1959. They started the business G&J Logistics as an extension of capabilities in 2001 and in 2009, they bought the manufacturing rights to a range of wheel chair designs. In 2016, Griffiths & Johnson bought another local small fabrication company - G&J Amco. A year into our ownership we merged the majority of the 3 businesses to trade under the original company Griffiths & Johnson, apart our range of wheelchairs, trolleys and commodes which is kept under the G&J Logistics brand.

August 2023: Allied Global Engineering acquires Mantec Engineering in another retirement sale. Mantec was originally founded in 1995. In January 2024 we made the decision to relocate EGL Vaughan from Glossop to the same site as Mantec Engineering in Manchester allowing us to share machines, engineering staff and systems and processes. However, both maintain their own brand identity and continue to provide an uninterrupted service to their own customers.
January 2025: Savekers Solutions joins the group in a part-merger, part-retirement sale (one of the Savekers Directors has taken the opportunity to retire, the other has seized the opportunity being part of the group provides and become a Director at Allied Global Engineering.) We are pleased to welcome Andrew Steel and his team to Allied Global Engineering. Savekers solutions has over a hundred years of heritage and pedigree, particularly in the retail, shop-fitting and furniture industry. However they have also developed a reputation for being able to create bespoke fabricated solutions to critical engineering problems - whether it be in bridge repair or motorcycle exhausts. They bring an exciting level of knowledge and experience to the group.
Between these 4 acquisitions, Allied Global Engineering has preserved hundreds of years of engineering legacy... and we are just getting started. This is something we are incredibly proud of.
Our Values
1
We Seek Partnership.
The purest form of value we can provide is in the relationships we build inside and outside the business. Relationships are based on straight dealing and clarity, understanding what is expected of us and delivering, giving without expectation of immediate payback, doing the right thing because it is the right thing, even if it challenges our ego or current beliefs. We have developed something we call "the Partnership Model" to support this which provides our customers a deeper level of service.
2
Every Day we get 1% Better. This is our Legacy.
There is always a better way. If we cannot see it today we may see it tomorrow. We must always be looking to improve, in small ways, everything we do, every day. Businesses transcend the lives of those who work in them, so there is no finish line or destination to be reached. We keep moving forward so there is a baton to be passed to the next generation
3
We're an Open Book.
We recognise that trust is a two-way street. If we are asking people to trust us (whether on a customer level or on a team level) then we need to trust others in return and being open and honest about the behind-the-scenes of the business is the hallmark of this. We will share what is going on so our customers and team members have the understanding that will give them reassurance and confidence in the business, and we always have our door open to those who want to ask questions.
Our Awards
We take huge amounts of pride in the work we do and we are pleased to announce that in less than 1 year, the first business we acquired became nationally award-winning in its category of precision machining (2021). We also won a second award in the category of innovative precision machining the following year (2022).
We were also awarded the title of "Manufacturing Heroes 2021" by the Made in Group for our work and achievements during the pandemic.
Our Certifications
All of our businesses are ISO 9001 accredited and our machining business, Mantec Engineering, also has the Cyber Security certification.
ISO 9001 ensures that we consistently meet customer and regulatory requirements through effective quality management systems, delivering reliable and high-standard products or services. Cyber Essentials guarantees that we adhere to best practices in safeguarding our IT systems against cyber threats, protecting sensitive customer data. Together, these certifications offer our customers confidence in both the quality of our work and the security of their information.
